Abshot can take an existing part, draft a 3D representation, and produce anotated and toleranced drawings to customer specification. Years of experience will ensure that all critical areas are identified to ensure any parts made are fully functional, and even improved where possible.
3D Modelling
Do you have a sketch or 2 dimensional drawing you need modelling for you own CAD simulations, of home production? Abshot can take any format and remodel into a widely adopted .stp model, or mesh. We can also take existing models and modfiy them to strength or manufacturability.
Part Design
Do you need something that cannot be bought off the shelf? Come and see us, we can talk through what you require, and draft up a design, keeping you involved at every step. Once everythibng is drawn up, Abshot would be delighted to manufacture it for you as well.
Fixture Design
We often produce fixtures in house to optimise production on customer parts, and so have a wealth of experience to draw upon if you require fixturing for your own manufacturing processes. We can produce jigs to enable machinnig in many ways, milling / drilling / welding - even a simple jig to cut tube to exact lengths can pay dividends when you can now do in house, what you used to sub-contract out.
