Abshot Engineering Limited is a family run precision engineering company based in south Hampshire, specialising in the supply of sub contract machined components since 1973.

We are proud to be able to offer many services, a good lead time and the ability to handle orders from thousands, right down to single ops and repairs; competently and at a competitive price.

We can manufacture turned and/or milled components, both simple and complex from almost any plastic or Metal material.

With over 50 years experience we are able to offer quality, reliability and confidence in the production of your milled and turned components that you seldom find elsewhere.

Our Services

Design

In house design expertise for any occasion - be it to replicate an existing or missing part, or to design a Fixture to assist in a variety of manufacturing processes.

Fixture

A wealth of traditional and modern skills brought to bear to enable efficient and effective manufacture of fixturing for drilling / milling / welding.

Turn

Using any or all of our varied CNC lathes to produce components down to 10 micron accuracy, grinding can be supplied for even tighter tolerances

Mill

Vertical machining centres are used with either offline programming for quick turn arounds, or can be programmed via a modern CAD/CAM system to produce more complex and/or optimised parts.

Repair is something we at Abshot take great pride in exacting, from the initial meeting and discussion, right up to the fully realised replacement, and sometimes improved part. Repair work often results in a more economical and environmentally friendly approach, keeping aging, but time tested equipment in service.

Slotting Fixture

Fixture produced to enable efficient slotting of 3x parts at once.

Large Milling Fixture

Large milling fixture designed and produced in house to streamline a customers part. With this fixture, we can manufacture 15x parts at once, drill, tap and mill internal keyways.
